These tracks are mentally and physically demanding unlike any of the other courses on the GNCC circuit! I grew up on dirt, roots, and big rocks being in northeastern PA, so Snowshoe WV gives me a sense of home! In contrast, the Florida GNCC is fast, deep sand, and whoops sometimes the size of your bike. Since I was little, my family and I have traveled south for family riding vacations during the winter so the sand is familiar to me. This event is always early in the season so I truly appreciate the mental battle you have to face when racing this track!

Heroes & Mentors
Honestly, my parents and my little brother.
My Dad got into racing events when he was in his mid-twenties so I grew up at the race track. He has always been a good racer, he earned A designation with points through the AMA when I was still very young. He was my first riding coach, and most of the skills that I have today I learned from him. He is my mechanic when I can’t be, and he never fails to put his all and more into this sport.
My Mom is my family’s factory pit crew at all of our events. She is the elite moto mom, we have never ran out of gas thanks to her. She is an incredibly hard worker on and off the track, she has an unbelievable way with words, and she juggles more things than I can imagine. She is the glue that holds our family race team together.
Owen, my brother, is quite literally my best friend. We are 2.5 years apart in age, and we do everything, on and off the bike together. I owe my riding skills and speed to Owen 100 times over. He’s my go-to for anything! He does my bike work when nobody else can, he is my chase bunny on the track, he is unbelievably humble and kind, and he never fails to push me to my limits and then just a little bit further. He’s just awesome!
What made you want to qualify & race ISDE?
I have been wanting to race the ISDE since I first learned about it. Probably when I was about 10 or 11 years old. The idea of competing at a world level is exciting to me. Being selected among my peers to represent a country I love so much to compete at a sport that has formed me from such a young age is the ultimate achievement. Learning from this experience and growing to be selected to compete on the USA’s Women’s World Trophy Team, if I am so fortunate, will be the pinnacle. I am honored and thankful for this opportunity!
Who would you like to honor at ISDE?
My family! My Mom, Dad, and Owen. I would never have gotten here without them. I am excited to get this opportunity with them. Here’s to six days of racing with my biggest supporters by my side!

I am very lucky to have grown up in the great state of Washington where we have
offroad riding everywhere. I grew up riding trails in Capitol State Forest and didn’t
even ride a track until I was 13 years old. I have great memories with friends and
family riding trails on the weekends which was always a fun time. The first track I
rode was our local track in Washington, Riverdale MX Park and I fell in love with
motocross. From there, I raced at Riverdale multiple times and was introduced to
another motocross track, Ward Creek MX. This is a privately owned motocross track
in Washington that only has practice a handful of times a year. I have been fortunate
enough to ride there a handful of times, and every time I go back, I have a blast.

Heroes & Mentors
I have a few great mentors. Maria Forsberg, and my parents, Ryan and Courtney Pugh. I was lucky enough to have met and become good friends with Maria and ride
alongside her as I learned more and more about dirt bikes and racing. Both my
parents have been a huge help in my racing and riding career. They were the ones
that taught me to ride and have always given me pointers to help me become the
rider that I am today. They have supported and helped me endlessly, and I can’t thank them enough.
What made you want to qualify & race ISDE?
I have always had the dream of racing ISDE. A good friend of mine went to Argentina
last year and that is what really pushed me to go to the qualifier this year. Originally, I
was planning on going to the qualifier to better understand the ISDE format as a
whole and train for next year’s qualifier, but thankfully I rode well and secured a spot
for the first women’s club team!
Who would you like to honor at ISDE?
I would like to honor all my friends and family who have gotten me to this point in racing, and all the people who have pushed me to ride and have helped me become the rider and person that I am today.
Thank you, from Mom!
Hello, I just wanted to personally thank you for supporting this 6days team. I am Olivia Pugh’s mom and the opportunity and support that you provided to these young women was amazing. I just wanted to share a little story about what your support of this team meant- At the end of the podium awards there was a little girl standing and as Olivia wouldn’t be able to fly with her flowers she gave them to her, and it just got me thinking about how much more this opportunity represented than just a cool race experience, it was representation for all those little girls watching of possibilities. So thank you for supporting this women’s team, giving them a team, a chance and helping them to show other little girls the possibilities.
As a side note, although we never got the opportunity to personally meet Eric, we have for years been participating in a Turkey Day Enduro as a family that he created every Thanksgiving morning since Olivia was about 12. His memory lives on in so many beautiful ways, so I can only imagine what an amazing human being he must have been.
From the bottom of our hearts - thank you.

The Eric Cleveland Memorial Fund helps relieve some of the financial stress for qualified ISDE riders. Why? Eric Cleveland qualified for the ISDE in his early riding career and was unable to attend the ISDE due to lack of finances. Since his untimely early death, his wish was to grant the ISDE to other qualified riders to be able to get to their ultimate dream race. The Eric Cleveland Memorial Fund is totally funded by donations
